oh yeah.....it was a color photo too.....

i may be imagining this part (lysergic feedback) but i thought maybe even the cloth covering the speakers was tie dyed....

If it was tie-dye, the it was 72-73, not the Wall. Try poking around here:

the link you sent is a GREAT picture, but the one i have in mind is even more impressive than that....if you can believe it. There wasn't the intrusive scaffolding in the one i'm thinking of and (maybe due to my tender age of mid-20's at the time.......20 years ago or so) seemed larger somehow. This is much better than what i have......

I seem to remember a good shot in either Lesh's or McNally's book. If my aged memory serves me, there used to be a link on dead.net to their archives or newsletters they used to send out to fans with a very intricate drawing.
